| Project proposal | Problem statement: -Inadequate accomodation for teachers. -Teachers’ inability to afford the cost of rent and therefore refuse to live in the community. -This has brought about poor academic performance and mass failure in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). Project goals: -To encourage teachers to accept postings to the community and live there. -To promote academic performance so that about 85% of junior high school graduants will gain admission to second cycle schools by 2016. |
